The palette of flowers and colors used to create a wedding
reception table centerpiece are usually the same or similar
to those used in the bride’s bouquet and the wedding
colors. In addition, the bridal bouquets are often placed
on the appropriate wedding tables to add further adornment.
However, a wedding table centerpiece needn’t just be
a floral arrangement; it might also be a display of candles,
candles with flowers or petals, fruit, candy or cakes or perhaps
a wedding dress form or a display of wedding favors. It may
also be tied to a theme, or season such as winter. For example,
a table centerpiece for a Christmas wedding might include
appropriate flora and decorations such as poinsettias, Christmas
bells or baubles, holly, ivy and ribbons.
You may also have some great ideas of your own or be working
to a budget and intend to make your own unique wedding table
centerpieces.
Furthermore, if you are making your own centerpieces remember
that you may wish to incorporate the table number into the
design.
